The rigorous casting process involved auditioning 2,500 girls across different cities, and Mrunal emerged as the chosen one. To sync with the character, she immersed herself deeply in Sonia’s world, understanding her struggles and resilience. Her dedication to portraying Sonia authentically was evident, and it earned her widespread acclaim.
