Founded by Vishakha Thakre and Kaustubh Thakre, alongside partners Yezdi and Chef Saikot Chaki, BaaMee was born from a shared vision—to create a space where global comfort food meets conscious dining.
What began as an ambitious idea has evolved into a dynamic culinary destination, shaped by personal inspiration, including a deep-rooted aspiration to build something meaningful in the food space.
The name itself draws from the Southeast Asian noodle dish Bami/Bakmi, symbolising warmth, familiarity, and an enduring love for food—values that define the BaaMee experience.
