Sandeep Kulkarni is an artist, who also worked on various Marathi and Hindi series and films as a set designer, art director, production designer/controller, and executive producer versatile in various formats like portraits and murals. He is an accomplished restorer and conservator of old masters’ paintings. Sandeep has extensively travelled all over Europe for various study tours. His clientele includes museums, private collectors, top industrialists, curators and royal families from around India.
He started working on series and films as an assistant art director on Sriyut Gangadhar Tipre (Alpha Marathi), Saheb bibi Ani Me (Alpha Marathi), Jagavegli (Alpha Marathi), Kay pahilas Mazyat (E TV Marathi), Gilli Danda (Hindi Sahara), Vyanku Chi Shikavani (DD Sahyadri), Various Marathi and Hindi award functions for Zee and Star T.V. He worked as independent Art Director for Hasa Chakat fu (Alpha Marathi), Mishya (with legendary puppet artist Mr.Ramdas Padhye, Alpha Marathi). Also worked as Executive Producer /Production Manager on Agabai Arechyaa 2004, Jatra 2006

He is the Founder of ‘SECULO’, an animation studio that provides solutions right from script writing, pre-production, Character designing, concept art, backgrounds, animation, compositing and required final output.

Sandeep Worked with Late Dr. Shridhar Andhare who was Ex. Curator of the European painting Section at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (Former Prince of Wales Museum) Mumbai and Director for 20 years and L.D.Museum. He worked under his guidance on various prestigious projects all over India with Royal families in the early 18th and 19th century European and Spanish artists’ paintings. He worked on paintings of Legendary Indian artists Raja Ravi Varma, Guru Ravindranath Tagore, M.F. Hussain, S.H. Raza, F.N.Souza, N.S. Bendre, Jamini Roy, B.Prabha one Great Indian abstract artist Vasudev Gaitonde and various contemporary artists from own Painting— Studio (Drawing, Painting, Designing Sculptures, Murals, Functional art, Practising art and Restoration and Conservation of old master’s Paintings). As a practising artist, he had his 1st solo show in 2008.
Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Mumbai February 2008 was his Solo show.
