The Studio3 Story

Nestled in the heart of South Mumbai, the Studio3 Art Gallery is an oasis of skill and talent, adorning works from artists across the country.

With over two decades since its establishment and representing more than 400 artists, Founder Vinita Mirchandani, has been an integral part of the discovery and success stories of talent in the art industry. Vinita’s connection to the art world, motivated the idea to start her own gallery. She found inspiration and encouragement from the artists that surrounded her, thus creating the prominent brand of ‘Studio3’ in the art field.

The Studio3 venture has expanded its repertoire with the addition of a brand-new eclectic space in Colaba. Located in proximity to some of the most iconic structures of Mumbai’s heritage, and just a stone’s throw distance from the Gateway of India, this Gallery, supplies the ideal platform for exposure and celebration of artistic talent. For an artist, it expands the opportunity to showcase their work to the art fraternity in the cultural hub of one of the most vibrant cities in the country. For an art lover or connoisseur, this Gallery provides a chance to be enraptured as well as to explore and acquire world-class artwork.

Sourced directly from trustworthy collectors and artists, the Gallery is home to a wide range of works including contemporary paintings, drawings, pichwais, folk art, sculptures, limited edition prints, serigraphs, photographs, and a plethora of other works, making it an aesthete’s paradise.

The name ‘Studio3’ doesn’t only indicate the lucky number of the founder but also the three key people instrumental in the managing of the Gallery. The active roles of Vinita’s daughters, Aarti and Anisha, make this business a testament to strong family values, integrity and commitment to quality. Hence it comes as no surprise that this Gallery was the pioneer in indicating the price value of the works displayed, highlighting the commitment to transparency.

This team of dynamite female energy provides a highly desirable global presence in a digital era to budding and established artists, without losing the charm of a physical space. The Studio3 family pushes creative boundaries by encouraging a wide collection of Indian artworks on the website, social media handles or at the Gallery.

The riveting dream of encouraging the growth of young talent, unveiling undiscovered potential, and displaying classic works, is realized within the four walls of Studio3.
