In the bustling world of Indian bridal fashion, Rianta’s by Rianta Chakraborty stands out as a beacon of elegance, tradition, and modernity. Hailing from a Bengali household in Bokaro, Rianta’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and creativity.

Early Life and Inspiration

Rianta Chakraborty grew up in a close-knit Bengali family in Bokaro, where her father worked for SAIL and her mother was a dedicated homemaker. From a young age, Rianta was imbued with the cultural richness of her heritage. She attended DPS, Bokaro, where she excelled academically, and later pursued engineering. However, her true passion lay elsewhere.

The Leap into Fashion

With an unyielding desire to merge her business acumen with her love for fashion, Rianta pursued an MBA in Fashion Marketing. This pivotal decision was the perfect blend of her entrepreneurial spirit and creative aspirations. Armed with knowledge and a clear vision, she embarked on a journey to carve a niche in the fashion industry.

Humble Beginnings

In 2017, Rianta faced a choice: work for a fashion designer and lead a settled life, or take a risk on her own dreams. With a different approach in mind, she chose the latter. Using her modest savings, she bought a sewing machine, hired an artisan, and embarked on a journey that would eventually establish her as one of India’s distinguished bridal designers.
