After 3 years of a dreadful pandemic, Technovanza VJTI is all set for an overhaul from February 24th – 26th 2023.
TECHNOVANZA, the annual technology and science festival of VJTI, is back in full offline mode. With a footfall of over 80,000, it attracts participants from all over the country.
With the theme of the year – “Revamping The Technical Cosmos” Technovanza aims to bring the world together and showcase the high impact role of technology in shaping the generation of today. A groundbreaking line up of outstanding speakers, both international and domestic, every year at the VJTI Guest Lecture Series. This is the cherry on top of the cake that Technovanza has been baking for students hungry for exposure and knowledge.
Technovanza intends to incorporate its theme into its intended application. This is precisely why the community has been a premiere home ground for social initiatives like Mission Mumbai and Pratigya. These initiatives aim to enhance the quality of life in the world of today. “Taking technology to society”, a motto that was bestowed on us by the 11th President of India, Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, has been the foundation on which the slabs of scientific understanding, the walls of healthy competition, and the finishing touches of technological excellence have moulded the extravagant structure of an enhanced student body.
Spanning across the lengths of ISRO, BARC, LIGO, Paras Defence and PNT Robotics, the ambitious Sci and Tech Expo line-up aims at providing a closer insight into modern trends and innovations in the field of space and defense technology.
Among the many events and competitions planned, some prominent ones are:
Refaktor – We present you our National Level Hackathon, REFAKTOR, a platform to put your imagination against the young, ignited, and bright minds across the country, where you shall tackle some of the most pressing challenges while blending a culture of product innovation and a problem-solving mindset. Robowars – Brace yourself, for the warrior within is set to align with the brute outside. For the flames of war will hit a fair equinox with the realm of robotics, as the month of February dawns. The extravaganza of technology has supercharged the element of awe. The ultimate Showdown, RoboWars is here with a newly added category of 15kg, along with the original 30 kg and 60 kg bot categories.
Codefine – Presenting CODEFINE, a thrilling event by Technovanza consisting of three tracks that require both skills and smart working ability. Participants are required to complete the task in the given time and produce a solution for their respective track that satisfies the theme. VRC – VRC stands for VJTI Robotics Challenge, one of the most popular and respected competitions conducted by VJTI Technovanza. The theme of VRC 10.0 is Guardians of Mumbai, which aims to commend our brave police officers on the eve of the 26/11 attacks. Smart City – Technovanza presents you with an opportunity to put forward your thoughts on creating a smarter future for the world through this event. The Smart City agenda entails improving citizens’ quality of life, and strengthening and diversifying the economy while prioritizing environmental sustainability through the adoption of smart solutions. Such 15+ events and competitions offer prizes worth up to INR 9L in amount to motivate and drive young blood toward mastery in their respective fields.
This year for the first time Technovanza is expanding its range and bringing to you The Sci & Tech Expo 2023 and The Auto-Expo.
