How did the idea for your business come about?

My business partner Justin adopted a dog and saw there was a huge community of passionate people who loved to connect. So we launched a Facebook page and it quickly grew to 1M people. This confirmed there was a market and jump-started our journey in the pet industry. First writing content and then manufacturing purpose-driven pet health products.

What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?

I was always an entrepreneur. In 5th grade, I used to hustle Halloween candy in November after everyone had eaten theirs. I’d read books, get free stuff and then sell it to my peers. I also love to win so business + winning is what gives me drive.

What kind of culture exists in your organization?

Our core values are #HTAG – Humility, Tenacity, Adaptability, Generosity so we lean into these for our culture and make sure everyone is operating in them. This creates a culture of fun, friendly driven people who enjoy challenges.  In addition, our main company is called “HomeLife”. The reason is that we want everyone to have an amazing home life as well as work life. Time with family, time to spend having fun, enjoying time off etc. We encourage people to take time off for family stuff, events, vacations etc. It is a priority because we know if someone has a good homelife their work-life will benefit.

How do you want to change the world?

I want to change the world by leading and setting an example of generosity using business and showing how powerful a force it can be for creating a better world for everyone.
