“I remember walking into Sephora as a student with €23 saved for lipstick. None of the faces looked like mine. That absence stayed with me. Over time, I realized my difference was my power.”

Her upbringing in India offered a tapestry of culture—from turmeric milk rituals to the subtle elegance of silk sarees. But it was in contrast, after moving abroad, that she truly recognized the value of what she once took for granted.

“What I had to explain abroad was instinctive at home. Whether I’m on a red carpet in a saree or formulating Ayurvedic Champi oil at indē wild, I lead with my roots.”

Her style? A fluid fusion of global and traditional. Her identity? A bold declaration that being South Asian is not a constraint, but a crown.

The Power of Multiplicity

Wife. Mother. CEO. Content creator. Diipa lives a multi-hyphenated life unapologetically—and she wears every role with pride.

“I don’t believe in choosing between ambition and family. I gave birth to a child and built a global brand at the same time. No part of me takes away from the other.”

That same philosophy fuels her inner strength. Her confidence has been built over years of showing up, feeling out of place, and finding her voice anyway.

“I used to overthink my first brand meetings—wondering if I looked fashionable enough. Now, I’ll walk into a boardroom in chappals, knowing exactly who I am.”

Fashion as Language, Influence as Intention

Fashion has always been Diipa’s first love—and a storytelling tool she uses with purpose.

“I see clothes as visual poetry. They speak before I do.”

Her standout moment? Cannes 2023, where she brought together three powerful South Asian women—herself, Dolly Singh, and Raja Kumari—each dressed in Indian couture, making history on the global stage.

“It wasn’t just a red carpet—it was a statement. We weren’t just attending anymore. We were claiming space.”

For Diipa, social media and fashion aren’t about spectacle, but substance. It’s about owning your narrative and using visibility to challenge old norms.

“Fashion is no longer behind a velvet rope. Social media has made it inclusive. But what excites me most is how it’s becoming more values-driven.”

indē wild: A Beauty Movement, Not Just a Brand

Born during the pandemic at her dining table with her mom and husband, indē wild is a deeply personal project for Diipa. It’s more than a beauty line—it’s a cultural reclamation.

“We’re reclaiming rituals, ingredients, and philosophies our grandmothers passed down—and showing the world that they’re not alternative, they’re powerful.”

From reformulating childhood Champi oils to launching into global markets, her vision for indē wild is big—but deeply intentional.

“It’s about building a platform for cultural conversation. We’re bringing Ayurvedistry to the global stage and inspiring desi women everywhere to say: it’s our time now.”

With a Sephora US launch around the corner, indē wild is on its way to becoming the definitive voice in Indian beauty and wellness, globally.

A Day in Her World

What does a typical day look like for a woman who does it all? In Diipa’s words—beautiful chaos.

From brand meetings and formulation reviews to being a mom, creator, and community leader—her days are far from predictable, but always grounded in purpose.

“Every day is different, but the mission stays the same: build with heart, hustle, and heritage.”

The Future: A Season of Becoming

As she looks ahead, Diipa defines her next chapter with a single word: Becoming.

“This next phase isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about aligning deeper with purpose. Becoming a better founder, mother, human.”

Whether it’s launching cultural IPs, expanding indē wild, or leading change through her foundation Post for Change, every move she makes is a tribute to her roots and a promise to her daughter.

“If my daughter, Dua, looks back one day and says, ‘That’s my mommy’—that’s the legacy I want to leave.”
